Alice Springs Roadmap to 2030
Alice Springs Future Grid is led by the Intyalheme Centre for Future Energy, on behalf of Desert Knowledge Australia (DKA). Intyalheme is proudly supported by the Northern Territory Government.
The Alice Springs Future Grid project received funding from ARENA as part of ARENA’s Advancing Renewables Program. This project is also funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources through the Regional and Remote Communities Reliability Fund – Microgrids Program.

Off-Grid Guide
The Off-Grid Guide is written by Ekistica and produced by Intyalheme. It leverages the knowledge generated during the Bushlight project, which ran between 2002 and 2013. The 56-page document contains guidelines to help with decision making in the procurement, deployment, operation and maintenance of off-grid solar systems. It is primarily aimed at municipal and essential service providers, taking into account that renewable energy engineering might not always be an area of expertise for those working in this space.
