Cel­e­brat­ing Nation­al Sci­ence Week 2023, DKA is host­ing two edu­ca­tion­al ses­sions at the Desert Knowl­edge Precinct, suit­able for kids aged 8 — 25(!) years.
SES­SION 1 = SOLAR / 3.45pm — 4.45pm, WEDNES­DAY 16 AUGUST
Learn how the sun’s radi­a­tion con­verts into elec­tric­i­ty using free pow­er & BUILD YOUR OWN MINI SOLAR CAR TO TAKE HOME!
SES­SION 2 = SATEL­LITES / 11am — 12pm, SAT­UR­DAY 19 AUGUST
An open invi­ta­tion to the com­mu­ni­ty to vis­it the first & only Abo­rig­i­nal-owned satel­lites in Aus­tralia & learn how they pro­vide DATA THAT HELPS THE WORLD!
