Program Establishment Officer

DKA is administering the Australian Government’s Strengthening Families and Communities – Safe on Country Fund in Central Australia.

About the role

The Program Establishment Officer supports the Program Manager to establish the Safe on Country Fund and ensure governance, operational, financial, administrative and systems requirements are developed and implemented to enable delivery of community-led grant funding across Central Australia. Working collaboratively with the Program Manager, Grants Manager and Administration Officer during the establishment phase. The role coordinates establishment activities, develops supporting systems and documentation, and assists in creating the operational foundations required for long-term program delivery.

During the initial establishment phase, the position will work under the direction of the CEO to support commencement of the Safe on Country Fund and establishment of core governance, operational and administrative systems. Following recruitment of the Program Manager, the position will work as part of the Safe on Country Fund team under the Program Manager’s supervision.

Employment Type: Full-time, fixed term of 6 months (establishment phase; subject to funding)

Salary: AO6 $102,505 to $114,282 plus superannuation (pro rata)

Special Requirements

• Satisfactory National Police Check.
• Completion of a conflict-of-interest declaration and compliance with DKA’s Code of Conduct and policies.
