Mens ‘Codes 4 Life’ Workshops Making a Difference | CAAMA Radio

DKA’s Michael Liddle had a yarn with CAAMA Radio about Codes 4 Life, a program for Aboriginal men. Codes 4 Life asks participants what it means to be an Aboriginal man with responsibilities in 21st century Australia. Michael draws on the wisdom of his Elders and his own experiences to provide guidance to Aboriginal men through these workshops. Codes 4 Life has been delivered to great acclaim in Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Alparra, Ti Tree, Laramba, Titjikala, Harts Range, and Ntaria (Hermannsburg).

Michael says, “Each person’s designed to carry a tool, a skillset. I’ve just seen something that’s broken, and I want to chuck in my tools to help fix it, along with other people’s tools, so we can build something together.”
